This means that you can program all of your fingerprints plus any trusted relatives or friends that you want to give access to your pistol. You can also open the safe with your own custom PIN that you set in the safe. This can be changed at any time. As you open the safe, the spring-loaded locking mechanism will open quickly presenting access to your pistol in the event of an emergency. 

The Barska AX13092 Pistol Keypad Biometric Safe will accommodate most standard size handguns. It is a good idea to measure your handgun and compare it to the inside dimensions of the safe. To prevent someone from hearing you open your safe in an emergency to grab your pistol, there is a discreet silent access mode. The biometric lock operates on 4 AA batteries that are included with each purchase. There are 2 emergency back-up keys to open the safe in case the batteries die or something happens where you can't get into the safe. 

Inside the Barska AX13092 Pistol Keypad Biometric Safe is a protective foam-lined interior to protect your pistol from scratches. The outside is made with tamper-resistant steel construction. There are 8 pre-drilled mounting holes to mount to your desired surface.
