Lock is non operational. May have been sent the wrong keys. Poor quality control I guess.Looks nice but the keys didn't fit the lock. Very frustrated! I had to go to Lowe's and buy a new lock so I could use this right away! Update...Seller responded quickly and sent a new lock and keys.I ordered two of these boxes. The second box had a cracked top and the lock mechanism would not work so I returned it. The replacement arrived quickly but it was in worse shape. The top was completely disconnected from the box and beside that the lock mechanism also didn't work.I removed the staples from the box top and reglued the top with some wood glue.I'm disappointed in the quality of these boxes. They are very flemsy.This product looks like a nice quality box but it only came with the outside locking mechanism so it doesn't actually lock. I needed an actual locking box for donations.Way too small for what I needed it for... My fault... If you expect it to hold more than a couple of pieces of paper... you need to buy a bigger size-box... way bigger...!I would definitely NOT recommend buying this box. The quality was CRAP! The top came apart before use and I had to glue it back into place. It is definitely NOT worth the money!Didn’t seem sturdy. I returned it for a metal one.Keys that came with box don't work with lock! Re rigged it to lock and the wood glue gave out after being out side for about 3 weeks! Do not waste your money on this!I was very happy with the quality of the construction and the finish of the wood surfaces. However, the lock did not function when I received it. It would just rotate in the hole, and the locking lever would not move. This is a 'wafer' style cyllinder - after taking it apart and adding some 'graphite' and working the key back and forth for a few minutes - the lock eventually started to work. The locks should be checked by the manufacturer for each box that is shipped.Love this, I use this in my classroom for votes, questions, etc. I wish the material was higher quality but all in all, a good product.Excellent box and got the key to work, after some fidgeting!no keys...saw the last review...didn't actually think it would happen again.It’s a good size box, nice design and came with keys
