The Hollon HGS-16E Hunter Series Gun Safe has 12 gauge steel on both the walls and the door. This means that the steel on this “entry level” gun safe is thicker than most of the gun safes found at this level. Additionally, the gun safe includes 1.25 inch locking bolts on all four sides for pry attack resistance. It has drill and ballistic resistant hard plate to protect the interior of the lock and the only practical way through it is by melting it. Even if a burglar were to get through that then they must deal with the auxiliary relocking system that will work even if there is no lock on the safe. This safe also comes standard with a convenient pistol pocket system on the door. This allows you to make the most of your interior storage for all types of items such as handguns and spare rounds. It also boasts a new plush interior with a durable “pillow trim.” The multi-flex shelving system allows you to maximize the most of your interior space and it also comes with four mounting holes and hardware.
