The fire rating on the BHS-16E is 90 minutes. There is also an intumescent door seal around the or to keep out smoke and flames in the event of a fire.
The security protection is just as good as the fire. The body and door feature 10 gauge steel thickness. There are 10 massive 1.5" thick bolts that are designed to prevent a pry attack on the door. Other features include a UL listed military grade EMP Grade I electronic lock. A drill / ballistic resistant hard plate protects the lock in the event of a drill attack.
Inside the BHS-16E is a deluxe plush interior. A UL listed fire resistant electronic outlet with plugs and USB ports is standard. You can easily plug in your light kit or dehumidifier rod. A light kit upgrade also comes standard at no extra cost. A heavy duty canvas pocket door organizer is also standard to help with your organization.
