I got this to hold my work watch I don't wear as much anymore since I work from home now, and thought this would like nice on my dresser to hold it. The appearance is good, the leather look is clean, the inner side has a nice padding and the pillow the watch goes around is good. But the construction is just horrible, the first time I opened the lid, it came off the hinges, I had to flip it over and get one hinge to flop back so I could look and in the light to see where they slide back into the lid. Once in place it closed fine and if I am very careful when opening the lid I can get them to stay in. I am still using it, since I don't have a need to open/close very often at all, because it looks nice but, I would not recommend this to anyone. Certainly don't use as a gift and I would just trash it if I was expecting to use it regularly.
